Waterloo students had *their* say in the bitter cold of the public square today. At issue is the impact on student life of the job action and associated strife between the teachers’ union and the Ontario government. Wherever you come out on that recurring debacle, you have to admit: it’s pretty damned encouraging to see so many citizens out in the bone-chilling wind, actively engaged in their community.
It ain’t all facebook and twitter: today it was feet on the street. Bravo.
