Oktoberfest parade down King St. in Waterloo Region is a happy ritual. For front row seats you need to roll out at 07:15 for the 08:30 start. The temperature is a roll of the dice: shirt sleeves one year and three scarves the next. But it’s a helluva great show and a great communal meet-up.
Lots o’ pics follow. (JB, all the tight shots done with the 70-200mm, all wide with the 18-105mm kit, since you were askin’)

Patience…
go.
New stuff + old favourites.
Handy…
convex reflector.
Crowd fills in deep right around the parade start time.
and *all* the way down King.
Best…
shoes in the parade.
The six-shooter is non-optional.
The drums are my fave.

I’m sure this is harder than it looks, and it looks pretty hard.
Yeah, I know, a real foot thing going on today.
Ok, I’m pretty happy with this shot.
