So, yesterday was Christmas and New Year’s Eve: I got a painting from my very good and wickedly talented friend, Mr. James Nye! Now hanging chez DW (above)
I ducked out of work at 4 to jet down to James’ Water Street studio in Kitchener. Lewis and James (right) awaited on the sidewalk.
James blew my mind and my hair back with this awesome painting. He actually went to the work of digging up the old source material for a much larger piece he did 2 years ago that I totally loved, and used that as inspiration for this piece for me. Dude!
